It was Allan’s turn to run the boys this week, (with pups both of us can’t go) and it was up to his old stomping ground and the club he used to be on the committee for, EALRC. He reports a very friendly challenging test, through the entire card by 2.30pm and great orgnaisation by the FT Sec Phil Askew and his team of helpers.
Bondy and Fish pulled no black marks, just showed a few weaknesses here and there which were POUNCED on and punished 
As they should be in Open. Bondy finished two marks below the COM, which is tremendous really as its only the second time, save one quick practice session the day before the test, Al has handled him. Fishy came mid field but leaves Al with a clear idea what to go away and plug on at!
A interesting general overview…. the distances across the board of the retrieves seemed shorter than generally in open down this way, BUT the difficulty and ‘technical’ level was higher, so a really worthwhile good day out for the team of lads!
